Enjoy an easy and pleasant trip to your apartment in Rome with our Pick-Up Service, from Fiumicino or Ciampino airport, Termini railway station or even Civitavecchia port.
Circulating in Rome is not always easy – depending on which area of Rome you are staying in, you might find yourself having to take a train, a couple of buses and two different underground lines to get to your apartment, or you might have to fight for a taxi ride. Thesmartcactus.com works with a Pickup & Transfer Company which offers you the possibility to be picked up at your arrival in Rome and to be driven directly to your apartment in a private car! All we need is your arrival details, so that we know when and where to pick you up. The cost of this service (unlike a taxi ride in town) does not depend on the distance run or the time that passes between the moment when you are picked up until the driver leaves you at the apartment. Please note that this service is not provided by Thesmartcactus.com, but by the Pickup & Transfer Company "LIMOUSINE CAR" by Mr. Sabatino Ambroselli. If you would like to book this service, all you have to do is include it in the “extras” field when you book an apartment. If you decide to book this service after making your reservation, please send us an email and we will tell you about the procedures that must be followed.

1) FROM/TO  FIUMICINO AND CIAMPINO AIRPORTS
Parties of 1/3 people: Euro 55 (instead of 58 Euro) for a ONE WAY TRIP. This service is for up to 3 people with luggage. There is no extra charge for baggage.
Parties of 4/5 people: Euro 80 (instead of 92 Euro) for a ONE WAY TRIP. This service is for up to 5 people. There is no extra charge for baggage.
Parties of 6/8 people: Euro 97 (instead of 107 Euro) for a ONE WAY TRIP. This service is for up to 8 people. There is no extra charge for baggage.
Parties of 9/11 people: Euro 150 (instead of 160 Euro) for a ONE WAY TRIP. This service is for up to 11 people. There is no extra charge for baggage.
Parties of 12/16 people: Euro 190 (instead of 198 Euro) for a ONE WAY TRIP. This service is for up to 16 people. There is no extra charge for baggage. 

Arrival: You will find the driver at the airport. He will be waiting for you right after the customs, in the arrival hall, holding a sign with your name, so that you will be able to find him immediately. 

2) FROM/TO  TERMINI RAILWAY STATION 

Parties of 1/4: 
Euro 37 for a ONE WAY TRIP. This service is for up to 4 people with luggage. There is no extra charge for baggage. 

Parties of 5/8: 
Euro 60 for a ONE WAY TRIP. This service is for up to 8 people with luggage. There is no extra charge for baggage. 

Arrival: You will find the driver outside Termini railway station, at the exit Via Marsala, in front of the bar called “Trombetta”. He will be waiting for holding a sign with your name, so that you will be able to find him immediately. 

3) FROM/TO CIVITAVECCHIA PORT 

Parties of 1/3: 
Euro 140 for a ONE WAY TRIP. This service is for up to 3 people with luggage. There is no extra charge for baggage. 

Parties of 4/8: 
Euro 170 for a ONE WAY TRIP. This service is for up to 8 people with luggage. There is no extra charge for baggage. 

Arrival: You will find the driver directly on the quay where you leave the ship. He will be waiting for holding a sign with your name, so that you will be able to find him immediately.Terms and conditions:
  • Please notice that if you need to be picked up between 22:00 pm and 7:00 am you will be asked to pay an extra fee of 20 Euro per trip.
  • In case of delay please inform the driver as soon as possible by phone or by sms (you will be given all the contacts at the time of your booking). If you do not contact him, in case of delay you must pay him 15 Euro for each hour that he has to wait for you.
  • Also if you miss your flight/train/boat, please call him immediately! He has no other way of knowing whether you are on board or not, and otherwise he will be waiting for you in vain.
  • This service is offered by the Pickup & Transfer Company, and they are entirely responsible for this service. Therefore please contact the Pickup & Transfer Company (you will be given all the contacts at the time of your booking) for any problems regarding this service.
  • Please note that you can consider the pick-up service confirmed only after having received our "Pick-up service confirmation" by e-mail.
About the Pick-Up Service: 

Please note that the Pickup & Transfer Company we work with is run by Italians who only speak very little English. They work as professionally as possible, but in Rome, more than in most European cities, delays can happen frequently and often for reasons not related to the driver. Some of these reasons are simply unexpected traffic (due to a strike, an accident on one of the many narrow roads, shutting down traffic in an entire neighborhood etc.) or bad weather. However, the drivers of the car-company are very skillful and they are used to work under these difficult circumstances. In most cases, they are on time to pick up our guests.
